NE IL | I purchased a 4440 with auto trans and Perkins engine 3 years ago. Overall I really like it.
Pros
Low cost
Sips fuel
Lightweight, barely leaves a track (this is its best feature in my mind)
Very nimble and easy to run
Very little crop damage post spraying
No hydrostatic drivetrain to lead to expensive repairs
Can pull behind tender unit making a 1 man operation
Cons
Small 400 gal tank (hard for high h20 volume applications)
Only 60 foot boom (some have 80)
Slow going down road
Small cab. (I don't mind it but a large guy would be pretty tight)
