...the biggest GMC V-6 was rated at 225 HP at 3400RPM. Torque on those engines were really pretty good. Small diameter carbs and huge bores made for gobs of torque..at lower RPM. I still have 2 in trucks...kind of wish I could find a set of .30 over pistons for a 478...I might rebuild it.
