I had some lights for a new shop ordered.  They were in a Fedex distribution center just west of me in Missouri.  Then they went clear to the east side of Illinois and sat in a warehouse there for 3 days before they finally delivered them.  If I get a choice, I always request that Fedex does not deliver anything. I've had them leave stuff outside by the front door, the garage door, the walk in door to the garage, and the patio doors on the back side of the house, often times out in the rain.  One package I didn't find for 3-4 days.  UPS always has the same 2 drivers and they both know to leave the packages in the garage.  I've never seen the same Fedex driver more than once.
