SE Minnesota | I had thought about putting a fence in but he was really good about staying around the back yard and by the house except to go to the bathroom, he was trained to walk out in the field by the house to do his business, so I never got a electric fence for him, now I wish I would've, he was a good pup. The next dog will have an electric fence. Edited to ad, we got this one at the dog pound as a puppy
