If you ever take the road out of Riggins Idaho up the Salmon River check out the "suspension" bridge with the main cable epoxied into the rock. It is really unnerving driving over that bridge.
Does it have a wood deck? There's one over in the Klamath Mountains like that. We were standing on it watching salmon talking about how rickety the bridge was when we heard a log truck coming. I'm not afraid to admit I ran off the bridge. |
