Pedee, Oregon | There is a wine region there, the Barossa Valley. They have a little narrow gauge train that goes around to the big estate wineries. Some neat farming areas to the east and northeast of Adelaide. I did not go west from there, went east up the highway to Alice Springs. Coober Pedy as a destination I wouldn't do unless you go all the way to Ayers rock and Alice. I have a picture of it, just a moonscape of mine tailings and many of the "buildings" are just converted mines or tunnels. It's a long drive of little to see to get there.
