Subject: RE: New Holland 195 spreader options??

Sioux County, NWIA
No real preference one way or the other on the web drive, hydraulic would probably be less trouble on the long run. For the web, no way I would order a double web. I've run both and the single is less trouble. The doubles are more finicky about adjustment and will allow frozen material to build up on the box sides and push the web sideways. The links and slats in a double web are lighter than the parts in a single web. Just my opinion, but I would order as a single, with out the web in, and have a local welding shop make a web for it. They make something heavier than New Holland offers.
