Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I was at an Ag Leader Dealer meeting in Ames yesterday and the question came up about the Insight Seed Command being able to work with Deere's new Row Command electric disconnect clutches.
The answer we got was "Yet to be Determined". The reason given was that Ag Leader has not been able to get their hands on any for testing.
It is my understanding that new Deere planters that were ordered with their Row Command clutches are being shipped without the clutches at this time. I was told that the dealers will need to install them at their own shops later when the clutches are available.
Since they are not ready for the new planters that were ordered with them, I think it would be difficult to get them for a retrofit. Maybe there are other problems associated with a retrofit that I'm not aware of. |
