Side entry great. Visibility great. 2000 hours on an early model 260and no major problems. Had a few things fail under warranty, hyd hoses wore, throttle actuator, relief line from from drives failed. Big learning curve with controls. If temp is under 10F we don't even bother starting it, steering controls are dangerously sluggish in cold weather, you would not believe count to 5 after pulling back on joystick until stopping

Other brands with EH controls suffer from the same cold weather issues. Takes awhile for them to warm up. Although I've felt the JCB controls had a poor feel even when warm. Tough to get EH controls tuned just right and everyone has a different preference.

One thing that does help is to get a short length of hydro hose that will plug into the auxiliary remotes and cycle the hydro oil a bit when 1st starting the loader in cold weather. my old 185 will literally drive itself through the barn wall with no warning when it's cold. I assumed they fixed this on the newer models durallymax. Not so?
