Got my trans back in. 24spd. jd came to check Pressure. Clutch pressure is about half of what system pressure is. From reading tech, the clutch valve or gasket behind control valve are the only 2 things to do without disassembly of the transmission. Any ideas. Planning to pull control valve and let jd look at it. Jd just did the 2 spd bench job. I don't know if this includes the traction clutch or not.
I had control valve off summer of 2015. Didn't see any damage but don't really know what to look for. Lots of debris went through trans when 2 speed failed

Had the same problem with my 8970. Low clutch pressure. Found the clutch valve operating fork was bent, not allowing full clutch valve travel. Part # R62043. Might be worth a look.

Yes... that was how my fork looked also. Replacement fixed my clutch pressure problem. Good Luck!!
Also, Coastal, thanks for all the good info you have posted regarding the fan clutch issues. Been dealing with that on mine also.

Just posting that my pressure is equal to system pressure. It probably didn't need it but i put new springs in the clutch valve. This was all done without removing any other parts but the control valve itself.
