A 16 row vacuum planter will use about 12 gpm for the fans (about 6 gpm ea). The ported filter cover (T31170) uses -12 ORB which will allow 30+GPM return flow witch does not damage filter, lower flows required by the loader should not damage filter. A lot of guys have drilled and tapped the oil filter cover on 10 and 20 series and never had an issue, I personally like the ported filter cover.
