Northern Illinois | I'm a grad of Illinois State U. When the cellulosic mandate or goal was announced ISU went looking for farmers to be in a project where we would plant different grass types to determine best variety for the biggest output and the sustainability and profitability of planting grasses for cellulosic ethanol and the whole shebang. Talk was there would be plants situated around the state near where the grass was grown. Anyway I was interested in this and was in the steps to be part of the project and whatnot. Needless to say that project quickly died. | |
