Subject: RE: Castrating Lambs Question

Breckenridge, MI
Thanks for the replies. Tonight we got a hold of them. Turns out most are wethers and ewes - only a few rams. We did give a dose of valbazen and a shot of Vision 7 to everyone.

As for sheering I will look into it. That isn't their final home half are going to a cattle feeding friend of mine and we're both going to figure out this lamb feeding deal so that should help with the space. Is the revenue from the wool enough to cover the cost of shearing at least?

Denise.R mentioned coccidia. Can you feed 2.5% corid crumbs to lambs? Would be pretty cheap insurance.

There is one weak one (got knocked over and couldn't get himself up) who I penned off separate and gave him a flake of hay and a water pail. Anything else I can do for him?

Thanks for all your replies I really appreciate the help.
