Subject: RE: How bad are the corn diseases?

Berlin, Germany
one mor adding, a quote of Prof. Bergmann, author of the book "Disorder of plant nutrition" or vise versa: "A balanced fed plant with nutrient will not get thick and buggs will not like it!" His book is still the standart, all based on "extruded" reports of international research, for diagnosis and how to deal and predict plant nutrional disorders. Sorry, the book is out of print but you should try to view it in a a good libary.
There is a online data base, sorry only in German, but I think that you can see at least the idear what is meant, at: www.tll.de/visuplant.
We are getting rid of Cabbage steem fly not with insectisides but with nutrients. A proven thing and done now for the 3rd year. They are gone, at least that is waht farmers are reporting, within 24 hours.
