Subject: RE: Ever Have a Cop Let You Go?

Lander, WY
Couple times in an old 89 Cummins Dodge (typical field truck, very little exhaust, tail lights worked when the felt like it...). Once had a headlight out, cop coming other way, flipped around and hit the lights. He walked up, said "Hey Chad, know you have a headlight out?" "Yep, need to get it fixed" "Ok, talk to you later"...

My wife though...don't know how she got so lucky. She was driving to meet her brother in Murdo SD, approaching Thedford NE (1-2 miles south of the junction) she got pulled over for running 8 over. Got a warning. She figured, heck, that's the only cop in the area (anybody who's driven that stretch or lives in the area would probably say the same) so rolls it up to about 10 over going north of the jog at Thedford. Pops over the first big hill...yep. Amazingly, got a warning on that too! The warning tickets were written 15 minutes apart...she slowed down some after that...
