Subject: RE: "Alternative" Closing wheels in conventional tillage

East Central MO-Audrain/Pike Counties
I ran 1 Dawn curvetine per row on JD 1770 last year and was happy w/ it in an extremely wet year. We run a Great Plains ultra-till before planting(1-2in. depth). I did try 2 curvetines on a row in a field where we ran the field cultivator and was really impressed w/ performance. The seed was firm in the bottom of trench with loose soil on top of it. I plan to put on 2 per row this year.
