Ne Nebraska		Alfalfa $80/ton 15% protein
2000x15%=300lbs protein
$80/300lbs=$0.2667/lb of protein

Tubs $105 for 250lb 25% tub
250x25%=62.5lbs protein per tub
$105/62.5lbs= $1.68/lb of protein

Now Tell me that starting a tractor is more expensive than grazing with tubs when a protein supplement is needed.
