Not me, I have never gotten that lucky, My wife on the other hand has talked her way out of a few, I don't even want to know how.

Back in 1962 my brother was born at home 3 months premature, Dad got mom and baby in the car and headed for the hospital 70 miles away, before he got there he came up on the local HP, dad said he never took his foot off the gas just pulled out and went around, the HP knew dad and knew that for him to do that something was seriously wrong so he sped up along side, Dad motioned to the back seat to where mom and baby were, the HP then lead the way with lights and siren going right to the hospital, Dad said before he could get stopped the HP had the nurses and doctor waiting. Everything turned out Ok, My brother spent 9 months in the hospital and was very lucky to have survived.
