To make a big difference they need a 2012 drought on their full season crop. That would make the skies light up at night.
Currently there are small areas that are dry, small areas don't dramatically drop national yields. Another months of normal rainfall and Brazil will have a fine crop.
As far as CRP goes, the farmbill needs to be rewritten or wait for a new bill because the acreage cap is met at 24 million acres.
The way people bit$& about CRP on this website maybe we should get rid of it and bring 24 million more acres on to the cropping program. Pretty sure we could get corn way below loan rate and everyone would be gleaming with joy. I on the other hand would like to see more than 24 million acres maybe somewhere between 32-36 million.
