I have been happy with my 20" rows. Getting a different planter in the spring and considered going to 30" rows. Just because of standard equipment and looking at ease of sidedress N. Decided to stick with the 20". I feel eventually slow release N will continue to be improved upon and while split app N has its place, if you could make 1 trip and have it available to the plant when it needs it......to me that is the future...more efficient use of time and equipment.
