Subject: Ever Have a Cop Let You Go?

Western NY
There was a thread earlier about people getting pulled over for some ridiculous things, but have many of you been pulled over and let go?

Last year, one of our customers just pulled their new purchase back to their farm. They had purchased a JD7630, a 1770 16 row planter, and a Yetter fertilizer tank to pull behind the planter. Obviously, this "train" was pretty long. Well, as soon as he got out onto the road and started bumping gears, a state trooper pulls him over. The trooper approached the tractor, but his intentions weren't to ticket him. He told my customer that his father-in-law didn't have too much longer to live and that he had been taking pictures of different farms and machinery for him. He had never seen a setup like this before, so, he wanted to get a couple of pic's. After taking a few pic's the trooper says "follow me". My customer's farm wasn't too far away, but he had to go through a little town to get to his farm. He got a police escort through town. He said the funniest part of the whole ordeal was when cars went to pass the "train", they would just get about half way past the planter before seeing the flashing lights in front of the tractor. It made them slow down and get back in line pretty quick.
