There are 2 micro switches up under the cowl area, should be able to see them while laying on floor looking up, its common for them to fail and stick.
Sometimes you can get lucky and spray a little WD40 on them where the plunger portion is and free them up, but plan on replacing, as this is more of a temporary fix.
