Our 7800 front-end isn't kicking in when we switch to on or auto, the light on the dash doesnt come on so thinking could be an electrical issue, anyone experience this problem before?

Thanks!!

These tractors use power to DISENGAGE the front end. Not to engage it like you might think. So if there is no power to it, it should be engaged at all times. I would remove the connector and test it with a meter or test light. The light should light with the switch in the OFF position. It should go off with the switch in the constant ON position. In auto, it will depend on ground speed.

It may be a bad or incorrectly adjusted brake switch since the brakes will disengage the front end. If that switch thinks that the brakes are ON, it will apply power to the front end to disengage it.
