Butler County,Iowa
Steve. Their is no secret. I just know promoting seed on Ag Talk is generally frowned up on. I'm a producer and I'm sharing my outcomes with the corn. And I don't feel that I'm skimping on my seed. The corn still has the genetics. It just don't have the traits for herbicide and insecticide. But I'm using insecticide in furrow and over the top so I don't pay for the extra trained corn. My thoughts are that big has to eat that corn to die. Why not kill pests before the chew plant. One the pests eat the plant damage is done already. Yes may kill them but what damage they did do is irreversible. Like I said no secret here at all just don't want to offend anyone and come across as a salesman. I'm farming just like everyone else and sharing the reasonable priced seed and hopefully others can utilize and save money. That's all.
