Genoa, Nebraska | I've switched a lot of acres over to Herculex corn from VT3 corn after the dramatic price raise that Monsanto put on their products. I am planning on using Ignite or Liberty in addition to a pre emerge application of Lumax. Just curious if anybody had any thoughts on this plan or if anybody is switiching up some of their plans because of the price increase of the Monsanto products.
P.S. I figured this move saved me over $12,000.00 on seed corn alone and the herbicide cost per acre will be about even to the VT3 program. | |
