You will be able to pull it no problem at all. Lifting a 16 row stackfold may be an issue for a 4850. Are you going to have lift assist wheels? Stackfolds are pretty heavy. Get used to using the turning brakes too. I'd certainly hook up to one and try driving it around the dealer yard before I bought it. Or you could just get a 8420 the same time you buy the planter. Don't worry about whether or not you can justify it, just think of the "cool factor". Remember, it only costs a little more to go first class. I hope you're picking up my sarcasm. Honestly I think the 48 could be a little under lift capacity.
