The Internet | Sodbustr - 11/28/2016 21:43 I might be odd man out, I have both a tele and a smaller payloader Depending on what I am forklifting all the time, I would lean to a smaller payloader. Hold up so much better than a tele and line of sight is way better than a tele. If you need long reach the tele will shine, if you need power, the payloader will. Also a tele is a little bit of a joke for loader work. They are pretty awesome for fork work. The tele's are awesome, but I feel a smaller payloader is a little bit more universal machine for a farm. As a side note, due to a farm purchase, I have a 518 bobcat tele for sale :) What calibre of telehandler are you using? I would have thought that if you compare similar lift capacities that an agri specification telehandler would hold its own against against a similar capacity loader. Manitou build a 24 tonne lift telehander for timber yards.I'd be very surprised if you can load a 29.5 tonne load of wheat over the side of the big Stas semi trailers we get here any quicker with a pay loader of the same capacity of our Manitou. I prefer the forklift for shifting pallets, but the telehandler is really good at shifting grain, manure, bales, dirt etc. |
