Alberta Canada | Hit the nail with the hay sales, have had tons of calls with people in desprate need of hay, seems the winter grass this yr had a poor yeild ;) They want me to hold it for them so they can come look when they run out of feed, give them a day or 2 to come look after that its fair game to anyone else, if they like it the better pay when there out or its going to the next guy. Have been screwed before with hay sales, have been told they need so many bales and will pickup a load at a time, fine with me, they get 2 loads out of the 8 and ohh we over bought we dont need it anymore, leaves me scrambling to find buyers then who I have turned away because I thought it was sold. It is always nice though when you call about something your interested in and the seller says you have to wait until the guy before you looks, you know there honest then. How many buyers will offer more than the asking price.....sometimes I think that is just a line they use to get out of dealing with you.
