Pretty much what Tim said.  If someone specifically tells me he will hold it while I drive there, then I do expect it to be there when I get there, but not several days later.

If you want it, go buy it NOW.   

I wouldn't really want to just turn away people with cash while waiting several days for someone who might not show up.
