South-central Nebraska | I've more often than not ended up buying new over used because of these previously mentioned issues. I'll occasionally buy used if I know the history within reason or it has been gone through well. E-bay, forget it, I've seen my brother and friends buy what looked good a picture, drive across the country and find out it was a piece of crap. I'm having trouble finding a good used semi truck. I don't like how most people have used their equipment before I get it. Yes, I'm pretty picky and will pay more for new because of it. JMHO.
I do have a few used pieces of equipment and vehicles that have turned out fine.
