Subject: RE: telehandler vs skid steer vs tractor w/ loader, forks

I have both a 8042 SkyTrac I bought during the housing downturn real reasonable, has a cab and heat, last year got a Deere Skid Steer always though I don't need one now, I won't give either one up, if going in/out of building and in tight areas use the skid steer and for heavy/high lifting use the telehandler, I use the telehandler a lot for moving machinery, drop the forks and pick up the 2 point planter, grain cart or anything heavy and can move it with ease, much easier and quicker to back stuff into buildings with the 4 wheel steer vs a tractor on the front, also have a head mover built for it to pickup JD heads, can pick up the 635 HydraFlex and 12R30 Deere stalkmaster corn head ease.

Also have a basket for working up high, I also had a boom lift at one time and while it was nice to be able to do stuff by yourself the telehandler is much more stable up high that the articulated jib boom lift I had, I personally not a big fan of heights so this works better for me.
