Martinsville, Ohio
The magnesium in the dust can tie up Ca and K. We documented yield loss in fields on gravel roads in several states. Check pH out a hundred yards from the road. The 2-3 inch showed a huge spike in pH. Tissue test showed high Mag and low K. An acid and buffer works well to break it like hog manure and potash. You are on to something there Gene.
