I also have thought of your same idea of a dozen pulling a pull type with the plow having its own power unit for hydraulics. Never pursued any farther than that. Have seen pics and that's all. Have also thought of pulling plow with dozer and building a spring loaded, hanging clothes line of sorts and driving the modern tractor with hydraulics along side. Would probably end up being a mess.
Using a TD20 Ihc dozer for tile plow? What does it weigh?
