West Central IL | Do that all the time. Sometimes the live stuff is better than the recorded version. Then theres the rare stuff. Just the other day I found Def Leppard put on a performance without the lead singer. They were supposed to play on a cruise ship and the singer lost his voice, instead of cancelling the show, the others stepped up and took turns singing. It's also neat to see some songs that you thought were the original version that actually was a cover from another band that didn't make it. Such as Journey's "Only the Young" was originally a Scandals song, or Joan Jett "I Love Rock n Roll, and there's many others I just can't think of right now. | |
