You might believe it to be not true but facts seem to contradict your beliefs.

Read Mathew 18:25 and/or Mark 14:66 and/or 1Tmothy 6:1-3 or but that will do for now.

Then there is Matthew 5:17 where it is claimed that this Jesus guy said he did not come to change the old laws

And until much more recent times church leaders did not condemn slavery and there is no condemnation in the bible, if it was wrong in the religion then why did the bible not say so?

Fact is any 'believer' decides what they want to follow and what they reject in the commands in the bible.

Do not deny that each person decides what they wish to do with their lives even if they listen to their employees to give them some direction the final decision is made by the person from the many choices given in the bible.
