West Cental Arkansas | My Dad dug a pond in the middle 1960's. it never held more than 2 feet of water.
In the early 1990's sycamore trees had grown up on it all around the bank. I had a guy working for me and I told him to cut the trees down. He fell the trees into the pond. I was very upset as I wanted the trees fell to the outside of the pond. I intended to push them up and burn them.
Long story short, the pond never leaked again to this day. Probably 10 feet deep. Leaves on the trees sealed the pond. | |
