I made a smooth edge for digging tile and footings. I use it for everything, even tree work.

With a little play in the bucket and practice you can uncover a tile without even scratching it.

I actually like the smooth edge for tree work as i can use the bucket like a knife and cut off limbs if needed.

I made mine from a section of replacement grader blade. It has an cutting edge to it and works perfect for my farm uses.
