Man I couldn't imagine digging starts with those pointy teeth. Impossible to uncover the main with any teeth, let alone those pointy things. As for tree work, never used that style of teeth. I could see the doubles getting jammed full of roots. No matter which teeth you go with, do yourself a favor and make a plate out of 1/2" steel to put over your teeth to dig tile connections. That way you can uncover the main with the bucket and not even put a scratch on it.
