E.C. IA | Would a .22 have the power/damage to bring down a mad pit bull which we now have 2 of in the immediate area. Also have a bolt action .223 but would prefer to keep things quieter if a problem comes up. Close neighbor has told me to shoot if dog acts threatening, other neighbor is um, not much respected and their dog has been a problem in the neighborhood. Small (25 or so people some with young children.) unincorporated village they call it. Most seem to agree something needs done. Worst dog has not been down to my area yet, but want to be prepared. Want to add another gun, best choices? | |
