Tomcat bars do nothing here. Have buildings sealed up tight enough to keep raccoons and other larger critters out but keep Hawk and Jaguar blocks screwed down to sill plates with deck screws. They may last a long time and go for months without being disturbed then some may disappear. Try and keep them available at all times. If you have a bad infestation it can take a lot to get them under control. You can see the blueish green and red blocks screwed down to the sill plate in this picture.
