If you add the bar and skirt kits they waste very little. I only use half the bars so make one bar kit do two feeders.
What does one of these feeders set up like this run? I've only seen the bare bones models around here, and they seemed pretty pricey... But if they last 4 times longer than a metal ring, might be worth the investment.
