Not ag related but it is society related. If you have not already done it I would suggest "1984" by George Orwell. Read it and compare it to what the left/liberal/progressive/socialist/communist (you pick the name, they're all about the same) are promoting today. Orwell was right. He just missed his predictions by a few years. If you like horror stories you might grab a copy of Al Gore's "Earth in the Balance." Andy Andrews has written some pretty good stuff, especially "The Noticer" and its sequels. "The Jefferson Lies" by David Barton was interesting to me. You might say it's "the rest of the story" about some of the thing liberals have been saying about Jefferson, especially concerning his relationship to religion. Beyond that I suggest biographies of people who overcame the odds to be successful. For pure fun I sometimes read Louis L'Amour.
