I will agree with the many who mentioned farm sales.
When working and moving cold is not so bad but too much idle time at a farm sale and most sales seem to have a wind at them too.

But the one time I remember being REALLY cold was trying to finish my plowing on an open station Nuffield tractor with a heat houser during the start of a blizzard.
Not bad going one direction but the other way BBBRRrrrrr.
I was determined to try and finish but around 11pm with only a couple rounds to do I gave up and went to the house.
I was really cold took some time to warm up.

Never finished those rounds until spring
