EC IL | It's about being timely. This spring we planted for 3 days in the middle of April then it rained. We got back in a week later and planted two days, then it rained and we didn't turn a wheel for 4 weeks. Finally finished by the end of May. This year we started planting beans at the same time as corn. Those early beans averaged 8 - 10 bushels more than my later planted beans.
Weldon, we are driving to North Carolina next week to spend Thanksgiving with daughter and son-in-law. They live near Surf City. Will we be near you on our drive down? We go through WV. | |
