I used to work for a farmer that had a 1070, and later a 1570. That 1570 was a beast. It would run out of traction before power even with duals. I'm sure it had it's tail twisted.Pulled a NH 900 pull type harvester, but the PTO couldn't take the stress. The 504 engine is definitely the strong suit of these tractors. Not as nimble as a Deere of that vintage, but a 1570 would blow the doors off of a 4630 Deere for raw power. (Bet the Nat crowd never expected to hear that out of a green coolaid drinker like me, LOL!) More comparable to a 4840 for power, IMO.

Had a lot of fun running that tractor. That was 30 years ago now.
