Wouldn't bother me at all. Makes perfect sense. Some kids need to learn to appreciate things more.
I saw what happened to one kid when huge parties were thrown for him every year. Never seen a kid get that many gifts at a time. I knew his great-grandma well and was over there many times and had to deal with the spoiled kid. Overindulging ruined him. He didn't appreciate anything or anyone. I'll just stop the story there. You can figure out the rest.
What would your reaction be to something like this from a parent?
