If coyotes will kill a turkey I am almost positive they will kill a pheasant as well. Didnt think I indicated they wouldn't. A pheasant is singular; a nest of pheasant eggs is multiples. A coon or possum or turkey will destroy the whole nest, thereby wiping out many at a time vs. the occasional pheasant the coyote catches on the ground. In nature, coyotes probably do more good than harm. |
