I respect that point of view. I have a 9 and 12 year old a wife and a small house. It gets where you run out of room and they really don't need anything else. In my family similar sentiment has caused problems over the years so I know some people (most perhaps) don't see it as I do. I think it would be nice to use the letter to start a family conversation so that everybody is on the same page.
What would your reaction be to something like this from a parent?
