It would be interesting to see how much land was available even with large areas under ice.
With a lower sea level those areas not under ice would show more land.
I do not think average global temperatures were much cooler during the ice age 5-6C is what studies show if my memory is correct.
Some of the problems that may show in present warming is the speed that it is occurring.
