Correction. It has made experts out of many in all sorts of disciplines they have no formal training or experience.

 Everybody is a diy  genius for everything from home improvement, auto repair to physiology and psychology. 

 Ignorance is the issue as formal education has degraded to the point of not teaching critical thinking.

 People have no idea of how much they don't know.

 Addressing this takes patience not confrontation.
